You know you're old when you get stuff like this for your birthday and LOVE it!

For my birthday a week ago, I got two of the best gifts EVER. The first came from my wonderful husband, who got me a Bissell Spot Lifter 2X. Yep, I got a hand held vacuum cleaner and am excited about it (I specifically suggested this to Ked, so he's not in any way in the doghouse). If you have the urge to come visit us and throw up while you're here, I am now well equipped to handle the mess :) I have gotten to try it out after a small poopy pants incident (Micah's pants, not mine) and it works like a charm. Thanks, Ked; you're the best!!

You'll never guess what my sister got for me. . . . a SNUGGIE!! The best part was that she gave it to me in a restaurant so my husband got to be embarrassed not only over the gift itself, but my excitement at opening it, AND the accompanying card that played "Hangin' Tough" by New Kids on the Block.

Go ahead and make fun of this blanket with sleeves all you want. I dare you to come to our cold basement and use the Snuggie for one night while watching TV and eating a bowl of popcorn. Once you try it, you will never make fun of it again. But until then, if you want to see a really funny voiced-over commercial for this delightful item, click here (be forewarned, there is swearing and very crude language in this commercial so view at your own discretion).

For my birthday last year, Andy got me a SpotBot. I believe it might be the cousin to your gift this year. Same here, I asked for it, and I LOVE IT!!! Andy keeps asking me if I want a Snuggie because I keep getting my hands caught in the blanket when trying to grab the remote--pesky blankets!! :-)

Jabby forwarded the snuggie commercial to me several weeks ago and I thought it was hilarious! I thought of you when I saw it. Glad you got what you wished for on your birthday
