The Bachelorette: Week 1 Discussion

Well, with no more LOST to watch, something has to fill the void. Might as well be another show with a fictional ending.

Ladies, I know you're watching. Instead of giving a first impression rose, what are your first impression comments?

In Honor of Lost. . .

For you LOST fans, it's time to weigh in. Leave a comment with your thoughts on any/all of the following:

1. Who's your favorite character on the show?
2. Who's your least favorite character?
3. Who were you the most excited to see die on the show?
4. What character did you want to see more of?
5. What will happen in the finale tomorrow night?
6. What unanswered plot question do you really hope will be answered?
7. Is "Mother" (Allison Janney) the smoke monster? Why or why not?
8. Who would you trust more: Ben or Widmore?
9. If you crashed on an island, which character would you most want to have with you?

DC Rox

Last week, I tagged along on Kedron's May term trip to DC. It was nice to get away and (unless the Nanas are lying) the boys were very good for their grandparents. Here are a few random pic's from our trip (hmm, is it pic's or should I leave out the apostrophe?).

Honest Abe is honestly huge.

Tommy J. Or that's what the students called him.

The National Cathedral. I had never been here before. It is HUGE. And a weird mix of patriotism and spirituality.

Here are the Bardwells in front of where Kedron will work someday.
(not referring to the Canadian Embassy, by the way)

In the Capitol building. This is the inside of the dome.

A random ceiling inside the Capitol that I thought was cool looking.
We saw many noteworthy people during our trip: Shawn Johnson (in the DSM airport), Al Franken, Arlen Specter, Joe Lieberman, Garrison Keillor, Chuck Grassley (he tweeted about us??), and Kedron saw Rachael Ray. Random. Kedron could tell you many more Senators we saw, but they were all people I didn't know :)

. . . here were the boys. I love this photo. Today was a really awful day, but this picture reminds me that it isn't always that way.

Don't Stand So Close to Me

Sneaky Ked has been tricking our little boy into standing on his own. But he doesn't seem to mind.
