NO idea where he gets this from. . .

Well, our little Organizer has moved on from lining up his farm animals to lining up his cars and trucks. He spent probably an hour today placing and moving around his vehicles on the couch cushions.


I am also wondering whether athletics will be in his future or not. Yesterday we went outside to play with his Winnie the Pooh bouncy ball. I'm thinking, what little boy wouldn't love running around the yard on a nice day, kicking and throwing a ball? Well, it became apparent that Micah would rather sit on the ground with the ball, point to Winnie and Tigger repeatedly, and then kiss their images on the ball (he's no germaphobe). ONLY after he established a solid relationship with the ball did he bat it around a little bit. That's my boy!!

At my 36 week check up today, it finally hit me that we will actually be having a baby soon! So. . . it's time to play Guess the Delivery Date! In the comments, you can make your guess at the baby's birthdate, and the weight/length of the baby.

The winner of our little contest will get to PICK THE BABY'S FIRST NAME!!! OK, maybe not, but maybe, since we have yet to decide. .

Goldilocks and the 3 Bears - Bardwell Edition

New Bedroom

Here are some pictures of Micah's new room. I'm not totally done decorating; we plan to get a bean bag chair and a few more things for the walls. He loves being able to reach the books on the lowest bookshelf!


Micah is sleeping in his big boy bed at nights. We've only found him asleep on the floor twice :) We haven't been able to get him to sleep in bed for naps yet. He'd rather get out of bed and play. Hopefully we can accomplish this transition in the next 5 weeks!
