Thomas in Wyoming

We took Thomas to Wyoming. He had a great time.

Oh, we brought the boys along too.

It was still snowy near Lake Marie.

A Wyoming favorite: 4 wheeling. Nana is a good driver!

We let Eli fly solo :)

Karlton and Yvonne drove up from Colorado to spend some time with us. It was great to see them!

Ked and I, mastering the "Are they married or are they brother and sister?" look.

With cute faces like this, you'd guess they are angels. You'd be wrong, though.

Papa, Nana, and the boys!

Home Sweet Home

After a long trip to Wyoming and Nebraska, we are home! The boys are already in bed after not napping in the car (they really are the world's worst car sleepers) and Ked and I are catching up on mail, etc. I'll post pics soon!

Do you ever hear an older song from your younger days on the radio and realize, "This is a GREAT song!" This happened to me today.

How about you? What lesser-remembered songs from days past to you just love?

PS: I'm not necessarily endorsing this video. Just the great song.

The Real Housewives of Simpson College

Here are my dear, dear friends Tara and Jill. We're all stay/work-at-home moms, with spouses who work at Simpson. We probably should have our own "Housewives" show. After all, this is what we have to deal with:

Caden (Tara's, age 8), Bryson (Tara's, age 3), Bryton (Jill's, age 1), Micah (3 1/2), Eli (2), and Harry (Jill's, age 3 1/2).

Swingin' at Yellow House

We've been busy lately! I thought there would be no better way to celebrate the 90+ degree temps and crazy humidity, than to paint our porch swing.

Before:
After. OK, it's a little brighter than I envisioned, but it actually looks great in person. Wouldn't it look even better if we painted the porch floor a brownish color?
And here's what you really came here for. These were taken last weekend at my parents' house on our way to Ashley's wedding reception.
